EMDR Therapy, Trauma Therapy and Therapy for CPTSD in Horsham, PA

Hi, I’m Erin Witmer!

I’m an EMDR Therapist who works with trauma survivors and folks struggling with eating disorders.

I know how hard it is to carry the heaviness of all that you’ve been through alone.

Feeling like sharing pieces of it, pieces of you, would be a burden.

I want you to know that you deserve to be seen, heard and supported.

And, you no longer have to go it alone.

Erin Witmer is an EMDR Therapist near me. She provides therapy for childhood trauma and is a CPTSD Therapist near me. Erin also provides eating disorder therapy in Horsham, PA

It’s complicated, right?

Being so sure that you, and all the things that you’re holding, are undoubtedly too much.

While at the very same time believing that no matter what you do, no matter how hard you try, you’re never quite enough.

You’re desperate to feel different. To feel better.

Maybe you lie awake at night asking yourself things like, “Am I broken?” “Am I worth it?” “How do I make the pain stop?” “Will this… will I… ever get better?'“

Here’s what I know to be true

You are not broken. You are not a burden. You are worthy of reclaiming your life.

Healing from all that you’ve been through is possible.

I work with people who’ve been through things that no one should ever have to go through.

People like you, who despite all they have experienced, still find the strength to keep going.

I know you’re tired.

Tired of the emotional flashbacks, the overwhelm, the people pleasing and the cycles of anxiety and depression that are so very alive in your body.

Weary from the ways in which you have protected yourself from feeling too much, too deeply, too vulnerably.

It takes so much courage to even imagine what life would be life without the walls you’ve build to protect yourself.

And yet, here you are.

Searching for a way to feel different.

Believing that things, that your life, can. be. different.

It’s okay if you’re not sure what you need right now.

It’s okay if you feel messy, overwhelmed, confused and unsure.

My job is to walk alongside you, to be here to hold your messy, your overwhelm, your confusion, your hesitation.

My job is to help you figure out what you need now. What you might have needed back then. What healing and recovery from trauma looks like for you.

I love helping my clients realize that healing isn’t about becoming someone new.

It’s about uncovering and reclaiming the person you’ve always been.

Together, we’ll work to help you feel safe in your own skin, trust your own feelings and reprocess the trauma that you have experienced.

I hope to support you to finally see yourself for all that you are- strong, capable, and deserving of the love and care you so freely give to everyone else.
