Trauma Therapy and Grief Counseling in Pennsylvania and Rhode Island
Hi! I’m Casey Koch.
I’m a therapist who works with trauma survivors, people struggling with body image, grief and loss and disordered eating.
I’m passionate about supporting people to find lasting healing from their past experiences and their present pain, so they can live a life full of intention and connection.
You’ve decided that enough is enough.
You’re tired of feeling this way
⇨ You’re tired of harsh and critical thoughts taking your headspace.
⇨ You’re tired of relentless anxiety.
⇨ You’re tired of living your life the way others want you to.
⇨ You’re tired of constantly not feeling good enough.
⇨ You’re tired of feeling like this is all life will ever be.
You’re tired of feeling so alone in your suffering.
There’s a part of you that knows there must be an explanation. There must be an answer. There must be someone out there who can help you understand how and why you’re feeling the way that you do.
And after scrolls and scrolls through Google, searching for help, searching for a way to start healing, here you are.
WELCOME.
I’m so glad you’re here.
When starting on the path to recovering from trauma, loss and disordered eating, it’s hard to know what will unfold.
Healing can be a wild ride full of twists and turns.
Some days leave you feeling confused, some days leave you feeling exhausted, some days leave you feeling understood, and some days leave you feeling freedom and peace.
I want you to know that it’s hard work, sometimes painful work, but on the other side, there is beauty and freedom from intense trauma responses, disordered eating behaviors and body hate.
And, more than anything, you deserve that beauty and freedom.
Here’s what I want you to know…
You deserve to see yourself for all that you are.
Not what society, your family, friends or anyone else has told you that you ‘should’ be.
I hope to help you find that connection to yourself. To your body. To your passions. To your truths.
I want you to know that connection is one of the ways out of suffering.
Connection to self-compassion and self-respect. To resiliency. To people who get you and wholeheartedly support you. To the present moment. To embodiment. To your very real challenges. To the pain, joy, exhaustion, messy and beauty of your life.
My hope is that as your therapist, our connection can offer you containment, safety, trust, reliability and empathy.
It would be my privilege to support you as you heal, turn toward yourself and your needs and start reclaiming all that you’re worthy of.
